Weluna Q. Finley

Weluna Q. Finley, LPC, PMH-C is a licensed professional counselor in the state of Virginia owner of NuPathways Counseling Services, LLC where she provides private therapy services, consultation, and community education. Weluna has been working in the mental health field for nearly 20 years with various populations to include adolescents, adults with Serious Mental Illness and substance use disorders, incarcerated adults, survivors of violence, etc.

Weluna has specialized training in perinatal mood and anxiety disorders in 2017 decided to pursue her longtime dream of becoming a midwife. It is her hope that she can combine her specialized mental health skills and knowledge and midwifery skills and training in order to expand her services to the specialized treatment of women throughout the child-bearing age.

Weluna has a passion for community engagement and addressing issues specific to the Black and diasporic community, such as race-related disparities, mental health education, and the power of community building and healing through education and social advocacy. Weluna is a wife and mother of 6, ranging in ages from 20 to 1, and in her spare time she enjoys dancing, reading, herbal studies, and natural hair care.
